Our products are carefully tested to fulfil safety standards for baby items in Europe and North America. That means: no harmful chemicals, no loose parts, and food-grade safety on anything the baby might lick or put in its mouth, including the cardboard box itself.

SAFE SLEEPING:

Finland has had one of the world’s lowest infant mortality rates for six decades. Throughout that time, most Finnish newborns have slept in boxes similar to the Finnish Baby Box. The box has helped by reducing co-sleeping, as it has been a separate safe and clean sleeping place for the baby. Of course economic growth and improved education as well as science on infant health has improved vastly since the 1950s as well. Nowadays the understanding of infant health is so detailed that we even know the optimal mattress firmness for a baby – included in our box so you don’t have to wonder about it.
